John Brake lifted Saints' only silverware of 2006/07 at May's North Walsham Sevens when he captained the Senior Academy Sevens side that successfully defended its title. John also experienced the delights of the IRB Sevens circuit in San Diego, California, and Adelaide, Australia, with England along with fellow Senior Academy member David Smith. John is a versatile player starting 2006/07 on the wing but finishing the season at scrum-half, where he will concentrate his efforts this coming season.
