The Sin Bin returns to Franklin's Gardens on Thursday 29th May 08! Here are the acts...
KEVIN McCARTHY
Once seen never forgotten, Kevin McCarthy remains one of the biggest and most loved performers by comics and audiences alike, compering and headlining at all the major Comedy Clubs in the UK.
With an ever changing act, and the ability to find humour in any subject, Kevin's warm personality and utterly relaxed stage persona puts the audience instantly at ease. His appetite for topical mirth is second to none and he will have even the hardest of crowds eating out of his hand, as well as watching their back for he's as sharp as they come.
Kevin's outstanding career was recently recognised by Club Mirror where he was awarded the honour of Club Mirror Comedian of the Year at a high profile awards ceremony.
His act has taken him as far a field as Afghanistan, Bosnia and the Falklands to perform for the British troops, to performing for large audiences on cruise ships around the world.
Kevin is one of the most experience corporate acts taking part in events such as DVD launches for Sony to worldwide Unilever conventions.
As an accomplished stand-up with many TV appearances such as Saturday Night Live under his belt together with being the regular warm-up act for Later with Jools Holland, he's a massive coup for any event.
ADAM CROW
A clear candidate for the title of comedian's comedian, Adam Crow has been described by Ricky Gervais as "really funny" and is also a favourite of such diverse luminaries as Griff Rhys Jones, Gloria Hunniford and Dr Fox.
Equally at home as a comedian or compere, Adam will be equally familar for his dexterity on TV in such varied programmes as:
The Dream Team (Sky One), Casualty (BBC 1), Trust (ITV), The Leaflet (BBC2), The Bill (ITV) and The Real Dating Show (Channel 4) to name but a few.
JEFF INNOCENT
One of the truly big stars, in more than ways than one, of modern British comedy, East Ender Jeff Innocent is that dangerous breed; a big man with a brain. This unique contrast is the product of a colourful life growing up in London's East End, which has seen him combine working as a bouncer while also boasting an academic background.
Such experiences form the cornerstone of his act and his talent has seen him land numerous roles on film and TV, including appearing alongside fellow hard-man turned thespian Vinny Jones in Mean Machine , Time Gentlemen and It Was An Accident as well as working with the likes of Later With Jools Holland and Phil Jupitus. With an act that's part history lesson part sociology lecture but all funny, he has been described as "like Alan Bennett writing an episode of 'Minder".
