Saints U21s/U19s fly-half Ben Russell has been moved to outside centre for England U19s game against Ireland U19s at Coventry's Broadstreet RFC on Friday, February 15, 2002 - KO 7.30pm. When England U19s coach Tosh Askew announced the team to face Ireland on Friday week earlier today, he said: "I was satisfied with our performances against New Zealand Schools and Wales. The latter gave us our first win over them in seven years. The experience of playing at Twickenham last week will benefit the players as we prepare to face a very tough Irish side. "I've made four changes from the team that played against Wales as I want to look at some more players ahead of the FIRA U19 World Cup in Italy next month. Therefore, I have called up Richard Wigglesorth of Sale Sharks to fly half with Chris Rowland (Bristol Shoguns) and Jason Hobson (Exeter Chiefs) taking over at loose-head and tight-head prop respectively. I have also brought in Geoffrey Parling (Durham School) into the second row. "The twin objectives of the games leading up to FIRA are obviously to win but to also look at the development of players. To date this season I've been encouraged by what I've seen."
