Lions, England and Northampton Saints scrum-half Matt Dawson will test his fitness for the club's second string side, the Wanderers, against National League Division One's Worcester on Monday night. The 29-year-old injured his left ankle during Saints' penultimate Heineken Cup pool game against Glasgow in January. He will be hoping to prove his worth for a place in the Saints team that will take on Leicester Tigers at Welford Road next Saturday. It will be the first time Dawson has played alongside England U19s fly-half Ben Russell, who kicked two conversions and a penalty in their 15-0 win over Ireland U19s earlier today. Fellow scrum-half Dom Malone will start the game on the bench after spending the last six months rehabilitating from a hamstring injury.
