England manager Clive Woodward has named former New Zealand league star Henry Paul on the bench for England's crunch Six Nations game against France on Saturday, but has left his starting XV, which includes Steve Thompson and Ben Cohen, unchanged.

Meanwhile France's coach Bernard Laporte hsd named Fabien Galthié as captain, one of four changes from the side that narrowly beat Wales in Cardiff. Also returning is flanker Olivier Magne, winning his 50th Test cap for France, after his ban for stamping in the Six Nations opener with Imanaol Harinordoquy shifting to No 8 in place of Steven Hall. David Auradou has come in for the injured Thibault Privat while David Bory replaces Xavier Garbajosa on the right wing. Northampton lock Olivier Brouzet is included in the starting line-up despite his yellow card at the weekend for punching while the uncapped flanker Remy Martin has a place on the bench despite his yellow card for a late challenge in Stade Francais' game against Dax on Saturday.
