| Young Saints Called Back To School |

More than 60 young Saints have been called to a training session of a different kind to encourage them back to school.
Players between the ages of 16 and 21 have been invited to attend an education advice presentation with their parents at the Sturtridge Pavilion, Franklin's Gardens, on Monday.
Representatives from Moulton School, Prince William School, Northampton College and University College Northampton will offer these players the opportunity to continue with their education while also concentrating on furthering their rugby careers.
Northampton Saints Regional Academy manager Andy Street has organised the evening with the help of Academy assistant Dave Palethorpe and head coach Brett Taylor.
Andy said: "The whole idea of Monday night is to ensure young players continue their education while they strive to move up in the rugby world. Moulton School, in the south of the county, and Prince William School, in the north, will offer A and AS level courses to our younger squad members, and Northampton College will offer BTEC and equivalent courses. We have always had a long-standing relationship with UCN and it will continue to help us support players' aspirations to attain higher qualifications.
"This is not just about providing players with something to fall back on if their rugby careers do not work out, but to make education a part of their development. We are also hoping to set up apprenticeships and work opportunities for players that wish to begin employment and would urge any companies that would be interested in offering any of our players such a position to get in contact with me at the club."
