The Rugby Football Union is advising all supporters attending the Powergen Cup finals day at Twickenham on Saturday, April 9, to arrive early.
Richard Knight, the stadium director of the RFU, said today: "It would be very helpful for all concerned if the fans of all eight clubs attending the four finals on Saturday arrived early.
"This will ensure that everyone can enter the ground, after going through the safety and security checks that we have successfully employed during the last few seasons, in plenty of time for the respective kick-offs.
"It would be of further help to the security team if spectators could arrive with only essential bags and carriers as this will also reduce the time spent during the checks.
"As a guideline, arrival at the stadium at least 45 minutes before each of the kick-offs would be appreciated."
