Sharks Team News
Sharks will travel to Franklin's Gardens on Saturday with an unchanged squad from the one that drew with Zurich Premiership leaders Gloucester at Heywood Road on Good Friday.

Looking ahead to the game against Northampton Saints, Sharks' coach Jim Mallinder said: "This is the next stage in what is a very difficult but challenging and enjoyable run in to the end of the campaign.

"We are looking forward to it because Franklin's
Gardens is an absolutely superb place to play rugby and we have happy memories of our victory over Saints there last season and of our Parker Pen Shield semi-final win against Gloucester.

"This should be a tremendous contest because Saints have a host of quality players and they can be outstanding on their day. They can practically put out a side of internationals and we only just beat them in the opening game of the season at Heywood Road when Charlie Hodgson dropped a goal in injury time.

"Saints are still mathematically in with a chance of a top three finish and, quite apart from that, will want to make sure of a Wildcard place for a chance of playing in the main European event again next season. So this is a very important game for both clubs."

With no injuries to worry about, other than those long-term injuries affecting players like Hodgson, Alex Sanderson and Scott Lines, Mallinder had no hesitation in naming the same squad of 22 players, although he said he would not decide until nearer the time on the
starting line-up.

Squad: Jason Robinson, Vaughan Going, Mark Cueto,
Steve Hanley, Dan Harris, Graeme Bond, Jos Baxendell, Nick Walshe, Bryan Redpath (capt), Jim Thorp, Kevin Yates, Stuart Turner, Barry Stewart, Charl Marais, Andy Titterrell, Dean Schofield, Chris Jones, Iain Fullarton, Pete Anglesea,
Magnus Lund, Stuart Pinkerton, Phil Davies.
