Jerome Miquel, the Agen fly-half sent off in the 40th minute of the Heineken Cup pool four fixture against The Borders at Stade Armandie has been suspended for four weeks.
Miquel, sent off by referee Giulio De Santis (Italy), was suspended for four-weeks following a hearing by match commissioner Jean-Etienne Bernard after the match.
It means he is ruled out of Agen's round two away match against Northampton Saints on Saturday and will be free to face Llanelli Scarlets in round three at Stradey Park on Friday, 9 January, 2004.
