| Connors To Miss Sale Encounter |

Mark Connors, of Northampton Saints, was last night found guilty of punching Colin Noon, of Rotherham Titans, on the head during Northampton's Zurich Premiership match against Rotherham on Saturday, February 7, 2004.
Connors has been suspended for one week. The ban will run from February 18 until February 24, which will mean he will miss Saturday's game. He has been ordered to pay £150 in costs.
Connors has 24 hours in which to appeal against the decision.
The judgement was reached by an RFU panel of Richard Moon (Cambridge University) chairman, Paul Murphy (Oxfordshire) and Group Captain Nigel Gillingham OBE. |
