The first Franklin's Gardens beer festival opens its gates to the ale-appreciating public at 4pm today.
Carlsberg UK have helped source the majority of the 30 real ales on offer with a some help from Northampton's Frog Island Brewery.
Among the beers on offer are the Frog Island's supreme champion Croak & Stagger, as well as Brains' The Rev James and Marston's Old Empire.
Tickets for the beer festival are £10 and include admission, commemorative pint glass, programme and five half-pint beer vouchers. Non-drinking partners will be admitted for free.
The beer festival will run for two days - between 4pm and 11pm today and 11am and 11pm tomorrow. Food will be avaiable on both days and family entertainment will be provided tomorrow.
Entrance to the festival will be via Abbey Street and parking will be avaiable on the back pitches as per match day.
