Saints players to beneft from insight into the world of marketing
Carlsberg UK - brewers of Saints official beer Tetley's - are holding the seminar on Thursday
Northampton Saints players have been invited to attend a seminar on marketing and brand strategy to help develop their career aspirations off the pitch. 
The seminar, being held by Carlsberg UK, is part of package provided to players who have signed on to the Careers After Sport programme headed up by former England and Saints player Jon Sleightholme.

The two-hour session, being held at the brewery in Bridge Street, Northampton, will take place on Thursday, May 5. It will give the players an insight into the company’s award-winning marketing team.

Mr Sleightholme said: “This is the first such seminar in a series looking at different areas of business. The players attending on May 5 are all working towards careers in this field or looking at launching their own business.

“We are delighted that Carlsberg UK is supporting our programme. It will give the players a unique insight into the plans and strategies of one the UK's most innovative marketing and branding teams.”

A second seminar is due to be held by David Foster of Blue Cube Business at Franklin’s Gardens on May 17, 2005, entitled ‘Starting and running your own business’.
