| Noon, currently on suspension, will begin training with the squad in the summer but will not be able to play until September 26.
The 29-year-old, who toured with Scotland on their 2004 summer trip to Australia, was on loan to Rotherham from Leicester Tigers when he received his six-month suspension.
Noon, who weighs in at 17 stone, played 22 games for Rotherham in the 2003/04 season. Before playing for Rotherham, Brigend-born Noon also played for Welsh clubs Aberavon and Bridgend.
Head coach Budge Pountney said today: “Colin Noon is an experienced tight head prop with great scrummaging skills. He has had a wee rest during the last six months, so I am sure he will be looking forward to playing some rugby at Franklin’s Gardens. I am delighted he will be joining the club next season.”
