The first part of the extended seating area of the South Stand was put in place today with the help of a large crane. This is the first piece of the jigsaw that will make up the next tier of the stand.
The extra tier will being the South Stand in line with the height of the Tetley's Stand as well as providing seven new boxes, extra bars and an exclusive business club. It will also bring Franklin's Gardens' capacity up to 13,500.
