First held in 1926, the Middlesex Sevens is one of the oldest sevens competitions in England and is the most famous rugby charity event in the world.  During the past 10 years the tournament has raised more than £3 million for charity.

This year’s Compass Group Middlesex Sevens takes place on Saturday, August 13, at Twickenham and Northampton Saints and the other 11 Guinness Premiership clubs will be taking part along with Bedford Blues, Blackheath, NEC Harlequins and last year’s winners, the British Army, in what promises to be a day of exciting free flowing rugby entertainment.
