| Fly-half Luke Myring also makes his season bow after returning from injury in a side showing several changes from that which narrowly lost to Newcastle.
Ben Patston moves to full-back to accomodate Myring's comeback, and there is a first Guinness 'A' League start for recent senior Academy signing Ashley Maggs. Last season's England U18s captain Adam Barnard steps up from the bench to partner Andy Vilk in the centre.
Steve Thompson is joined in the front-row by Basil Heliasmenos and Luke Harbut, who switches to tight-head prop. Alex Rae's inclusion in the second-row means that Simon Pitfield is named on the bench alongside Scottish international Ross Beattie.
The 11 named replacements will be whittled down to seven after this Saturday's GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP trip to Bath.
Monday's match will be played at Chandos Park - kick-off 7pm.
