Noon was suspended from playing the game for six months for stamping. He was on loan to Rotherham from Leicester at the time of the incident.
Saints director of rugby Budge Pountney said: “Colin is already having sleepless nights and there are still four days to go. He cannot wait to play and he has been counting down the seconds. It’s going to be great to see him play. He is extremely competitive and loves scrummaging.”
The rest of Monday night’s team has yet to be finalised but should include Andy Vilk, Seamus Mallon, Rhodri Davies, Paul Diggin, Ben Patston, Johnny Howard, Brett Sturgess, Dan Richmond, Selborne Boome, Grant Seely, Jamie Supple, Tom Powell, Mark Soden, Alex Rae, Luke Harbut, Adam Barnard, Julian Bishop, Ashley Maggs and injury-returnees Mark Hopley, Brett McNamee and Charlie Beech.
The Academy players involved in Monday night’s game will benefit from an extra coaching session with former England full-back Jon Callard. He will be leading a defence, kicking and tackling session between 9.30am and 10.30am tomorrow.
Callard is one of the RFU’s nine National Academy coaches that will be visiting each of the 14 regional academies to take part in specialist coaching alongside each of the club’s academy managers.
Entry to Wanderers’ matches at Franklin’s Gardens are free to season ticket holders and just £5 for adults, £3 concessions and £2 juniors for paying supporters. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
