Noon out for six weeks at least

Northampton Saints prop Colin Noon will miss between six to eight weeks of action after he strained his right calf during Saturday's Powergen Cup victory over Worcester Warriors. It was Noon's first top flight game in six months, following a suspension for an alleged stamping incident.

Before Saturday, Noon had also played a half for the Wanderers during last Monday's victory over Leicester's development side.

Saints medical team has sent Noon to a specialist sports injuries clinic near to his home in Rotherham.

Flanker Darren Fox may miss Saturday's Welsh showdown with Newport-Gwent Dragons due to a haematoma on his left quadricep, also picked up during the weekend's game.
