Fox extends his contract for another two years
Two more years for Foxy

Flanker Darren Fox has extended his contract by another two years to keep him at Franklin’s Gardens until the end of the 2007/08 season. The 24-year-old from Peterborough, who only made his debut three seasons ago following two major knee operations, has racked up 82 appearances and nine tries for Saints in that time. Fox said: “I am really happy to sign for a club that is going in the right direction and means a lot to me. I hope I can make a contribution to its future success.”

Director of rugby Budge Pountney said: “Darren has performed at a consistently good level for this club and has shown great loyalty through his time here and we are extremely happy that he has signed for another two years at Northampton. At the age of 24, he has got a lot of very good rugby ahead of him.”
