Saints v Saracens KO now 2.45pm to meet Sky's needs

The kick-off of Northampton Saints' GUINNESS PREMEIRSHIP fixture against Saracens on Saturday, February 18, 2006, has been brought forward to 2.45pm as the game is being shown live on Sky Sports. This game is among several that were announced as the televised games today. Tickets alreadd purchased bearing the 3pm KO will, of course, be accepted.

Premier Rugby and Sky Sports today announced the list of GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP matches in rounds 14 to 18 that will be televised live on Sky Sports.

The announcement means that by round 18, all 12 GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP clubs will have had at least one home GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP match broadcast live on Sky Sports, and each club will have featured in at least three GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP matches, either home or away, live on Sky Sports.

The following GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP matches from rounds 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports:

Round 14
Gloucester Rugby v Leicester Tigers, previously scheduled for Saturday, February 11, will now be played on Friday, February 10 - KO 7.45pm..

Round 15
Northampton Saints v Saracens on Saturday, February 18, previously scheduled to kick off at 3pm, will now kick off at 2.45pm and Bristol Rugby v London Wasps on Sunday, February 19, will kick off at 1.30pm..

Round 16
Gloucester Rugby v Bath Rugby on Saturday, February 25, previously scheduled to kick off at 3pm, will now kick off at noon.

Round 17
Leicester Tigers v Leeds Tykes, previously scheduled for Saturday, March 11, will now be played on Friday, March 10 - KO 7.45pm.

Round 18
London Irish v Sale Sharks on Saturday, March 25, previously scheduled to kick off at 3pm, will now kick off at 2.45pm.

Martin Turner, Sky Sports' executive producer for rugby union, said: "These fixture selections reflect the breadth of Sky Sports' Guinness Premiership coverage, with a commitment to showing battles at both ends of the table throughout the season. There's a number of intriguing clashes here, which will form a major part of a fantastic period of live domestic, European and southern hemisphere action on Sky Sports. For example, I'm sure that in addition to the Guinness Premiership and Heineken Cup, viewers can't wait to see the newly expanded Super 14s which will again feature many of the best players from the All Blacks, Australian and South African squads."
