Evacuation exercise to be held after tomorrow's game

All supporters will need to take part in an evacuation practice drill after tomorrow afternoon's game between Northampton Saints and Bristol Rugby. Supporters will be directed through the main exits by the stewards with the aim of evacuating the ground within the eight-minute standard set by the Ground Safety Advisory Group. Supporters will be permitted to use the bars afterwards but will need to access them through the exterior entrances.

For some supporters, they may have to use an exit they would not normally use but the club asks them to listen to and adhere to the stewards' advice as the exit system set up for the evacuation practice drill is the most time efficient.

The players of both teams will not come back onto the pitch following the final whistle but will be accessible via the autograph signing station outside the south-west corner of the ground.

Prior to the game, a new version of Vangelis's "Conquest of Paradise" will be played for the players to run out to. A cut-out-and-keep songsheet will be available in the match day programme but in case supporters do no wish to damage their programmes, here are the words:

CONQUEST OF PARADISE

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.

There shines a light in the heart of man
That defies the dead of the night
A beam that glows within every soul
Like wings of hope taking flight

A sunny day, when a baby’s born
The little things that we say
A special sparkle in someone’s eye
Simple gifts, every day

Somewhere there’s a paradise
Where everyone finds release
It’s here on earth and between your eyes
A place we all find our peace

Come - open your heart
Reach for the stars
Believe your own power
Now, here in this place
Here on this earth
This is the hour

It’s just a place we call paradise
Each of us has his own
It has no name, no, it has no price
It’s just a place we call home

A dream that reaches beyond the stars
The endless blue of the skies
Forever wondering who we are?
Forever questioning why?

Come - open your heart
Reach for the stars
Believe your own power
Now, here in this place
Here on this earth
This is the hour

There shines a light in the heart of man
That defies the dead of the night
A beam that glows within every soul
Like wings of hope taking flight
Like wings of hope taking flight
