Internationals return to the fold for Bruce Reihana's 100th game for Saints
Hooray - 100 games for Bruce, Bruce, Bruce!
Northampton Saints’ Six Nations returnees – Ben Cohen, Sean Lamont and Steve Thompson – will all start Sunday’s GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP match against Newcastle Falcons and Bruce Reihana’s 100th game for the club. Co-captain Reihana has returned to his more favoured position of full-back this week to make way for returning wingers Cohen and Lamont with John Rudd moving to the bench. Dan Richmond has also moved to the bench to make way for Thompson.

Head coach Paul Grayson said: "We have not seen the international players all week. We gave them the week off to put their feet up and have some emotional recovery. They've hardly had any time off so they deserve it. It's nice to have them back."

He went on: "But the international games are over. France won. Well done. Now it's all about the league and the importance of the GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP. I have got my job to do and we all need to focus on Northampton and trying to secure a place in the league for next season and maybe sneak a place in Europe.

"The boys had some time off last week and hopefully they have come back refreshed after a hard-fought victory against Gloucester. At this stage of the season, with five games to go in the league, you are not re-inventing the wheel when you are training; you are touching up and getting the guys mentally prepared for the game."

Cohen said: "I am enjoying my rugby and it's good to be back this weekend. I am looking forward to getting over the whitewash as I have not done it for a while. But it's going to be a tough one on Sunday because Kingston Park is a tough place to play especially with the weather conditions we are expecting up there."

No 8 Daniel Browne is still on the injured list so Mark Easter remains in the back-row from which he scored his debut try against Gloucester a fortnight ago.

Johnny Howard has returned to the bench after he missed the Gloucester victory with a pectoral strain.

Sunday’s game kicks-off at 2.30pm at Kingston Park.
