The voting panel chairman, Sky’s Miles Harrison, said: "When Carlos Spencer came to the Guinness Premiership from New Zealand it was a signing which excited all watchers of the league. Carlos has not disappointed and Northampton fans must be delighted to be able to see one of the world’s greatest rugby entertainers on a weekly basis. To many, it was almost inevitable, that Spencer would win one of these awards before the season was out.”
The voting panel consists of five members of the rugby media and the PRA representative for each of the 12 GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP clubs.
