| Steve Williams' debut for Saints b Sale Sharks |

| Northampton Saints’ assistant coach Steve Williams will leave Frankin’s Gardens at the end of this season. Former Welsh international lock Williams has been part of the club’s coaching team throughout 2005/06 after being a Saints player for two seasons starting with his debut against Sale Sharks in 2002/03 and head coach at Coventry RFC. |
| Director of rugby Budge Pountney said: “Steve has been fantastic for us this year and has been a huge part of the development of the team. He will leave us in the knowledge that he has done a great job and been exemplary in his attitude and work. We wish him all the best for the future and he will be welcome back at any time at Northampton Saints.” |
