The holidays will kick-off with two courses at NSB, in the last week of July, followed by visits to Sudbury, Olney, Wellingborough, St Ives and Long Buckby rugby clubs as well as a visit to Redborne Upper School in Bedfordshire and four specialist courses to be held at Franklin’s Gardens.
As well as these nine venues, Northampton Saints is, for the first time, also offering a five-day residential camp to young rugby players. The ‘Be Your Best’ camp, run in partnership with the Army, the Premier Rugby Academy and O2, is aimed at 14 to 17-year-old boys.
The Saints-run camp is being held at Bassingbourn barracks in Hertfordshire between August 14 and 18.
The five-day course gives obviously includes rugby training but also gives youngsters the chance to get involved with exciting activities such as abseiling, climbing, paintballing and mountain biking.
Saints community officer Andy Regan said: “As always our courses are proving very popular and we urge any one interested in any of them to book a place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing our regulars but hope to see a few new faces too.”
