Grayson hopeful of welcoming back some extra players for Wasps clash
Saints' head coach Paul Grayson is hoping to welcome a few more players into the fold for this Friday's sell-out game against London Wasps (KO 8pm). With the restrictions of the European register lifted and a few former injured players returning to the mix, the coaching team should have a larger pool of players to make their selection from.
Grase said: "We still have a couple of injuries with Rhodri Davies and Damien Browne still suffering from groin and ankle injuries respectively, so we are still waiting on them before we make our team announcement tomorrow.

"This game will be tough for us. We are under no illusions that Parma did not present the strongest challenge. Wasps will be an entirely different prospect on Friday night. Hopefully, we will have three or four players back in contention with Matthieu Bourret and David Quinlan among them. Ben Cohen is not a million miles away so if he does not make it for Friday then hopefully he will be back for Saracens or Worcester."

Seamus Mallon and Vaughan Going will also be back in the mix following two weeks out of action as they were not among the  38-man Heineken Cup squad.

Grayson added: "The Premiership is entirely different. Each game is fought to the death. The next three games will be incredibly challenging in which we can try to stay in touch or lose touch with the top half of the table. If you pick up two wins, you are back mid-table and in touch with everything."
