Beech relishing Red Rose opportunity at the Gardens
Props getting muddy? Never!
Charlie Beech is in line to make an England appearance at the Gardens on Friday
Saints fans will have the opportunity of cheering two of their own when England Under-20s take on France Under-21s at Franklin's Gardens on Friday night.

Charlie Beech and Phil Hoy have both played a part in all three of England U20's Six Nations campaign so far this season, and both are expected to figure on Friday evening.

For Charlie it will be an occasion he's unlikely to forget in a hurry.

“I hadn’t known one of the games was going to be here until I saw it on the sheet,” he says. “It’s going to be a bit special. I did run out against Viadana and that was something else. But this is going to be up there to be honest. I’ve been really looking forward to it since January.

“It’s very, very special. It doesn’t matter what age group it is or what team it is. Anything with the rose on always adds a bit of sparkle. You’re just so proud, your parents are so proud of you and the feeling of playing for your country is second to none.”

Charlie and Phil are members of a long line of Saints Academy players to wear the England U20/21 shirt that includes Saints first team squad members Paul Diggin and Dylan Hartley.

Tickets are still available for Friday night's match from the Northampton Saints ticket office. Prices start at £10 for adults and £6 for children.

Tickets are also still available for Saints' next GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP home fixture against reigning champions the Sale Sharks.

Telephone 01604 581000 for more details on both matches.
