Kydd extends Saints stay
You'll be seeing Robbie in the black, green and gold for two more years

Northampton Saints today announced that Robbie Kydd has signed an extension to his contract with the club.

Kydd, who has played at full-back and centre for the Saints, signed for Northampton in January 2006, a few days before making his debut in the GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP win at Worcester.

Since then he has become a regular in the Saints side and has made 20 starts this season.

He has signed a two-year extension to his contract.

Head coach Paul Grayson is delighted that Kydd has decided to stay at Franklin’s Gardens.

“It’s good that Robbie’s staying,” he said. “After his injury we made a commitment to him to get him back to full fitness. He’s become a central member of the squad and is still young enough to make his mark with Scotland.

“I’m happy he’s made the same commitment to us.”

“I’ve enjoyed my time here so far,” said Kydd. “It’s a great club with a great bunch of guys and I’m looking forward to some successful years here.

“They worked really hard to help get me back on the park and I want to repay that faith in me.”
