Everyone at the club was devastated by Saints’ dreadful campaign in the GUINNESS PREMIERSHIP. And while the priority is to return to the Premiership immediately as champions of National League One, no one at Franklin’s Gardens is underestimating the challenge the coming season presents.

Nevertheless the Saints will be operating as a Premiership club, albeit in National League One. Recruitment for a world class director of rugby is underway, as is the ongoing process of player recruitment.

Nevertheless there are massive financial repercussions to relegation in the region of £2million in income over the coming season. And while the club has embarked on a prudent cost-cutting plan it is calling on season ticket holders to pledge their loyalty when the club needs it most.

‘The Pledge Season Ticket’ asks for supporters to re-new their season ticket at last season’s levels. In return the club not only pledges to return to the Premiership at the first time of asking but also guarantees that there will be a price freeze when we embark on the 2008/09 Premiership campaign.

Furthermore, in addition to the 15 National League One and two pre-season matches, ‘The Pledge’ season ticket holders will receive a free ticket to one cup match at Franklin’s Gardens (dependent on the draw), first priority for EDF Energy Trophy final tickets at Twickenham (should Saints reach the final), the Saints Official Yearbook worth £19.99, ‘The Pledge’ car sticker and your name displayed on ‘The Pledge’ roll of honour at Franklin’s Gardens in perpetuity.

The Saints is also offering a ‘Standard’ season ticket. This season ticket package offers a discount on last season’s prices, but without the price freeze for 2008/09.

“We know you are testing your loyalty but the cause is a good one – the future of Saints,” said chief executive Allan Robson. “If we ask too much of you we would be grateful for your continued support by way of the discounted ‘Standard’ season ticket also on offer.”

Both season tickets include admission to all 15 National League One matches at Franklin’s Gardens, free club membership worth £30 and free Bernie’s Gang membership for juniors worth £10, entry to all Wanderers and Academy matches to be played at Franklin’s Gardens, Members-only limited edition year pin and entry into Members-only ballots for England internationals at Twickenham.

Full information is being sent out to existing season ticket holders this week. ‘The Pledge’ season tickets range in price from £230-£480 adults, £140-£290 concessions and £130-215 juniors. ‘Standard’ season tickets range from £205-£430 adults, £125-260 concessions and £115-215 juniors. Please note that these prices increase by £10 for orders received after June 16.
