Monty rested but Murray starts for Scotland against Springboks
Euan Murray
Euan Murray starts again for Scotland
Euan Murray, who scored a try against Ireland two weeks ago, will start Scotland's warm-up match against South Africa at Murrayfield on Saturday. Sean Lamont is rested however.

Scotland have made four changes to their starting line-up for Saturday’s Bank of Scotland Corporate August Test against South Africa at Murrayfield.

Introduced to the team are prop Gavin Kerr, back-row forwards Kelly Brown and Dave Callam and winger Nikki Walker.  They replace Allan Jacobsen, Allister Hogg, Simon Taylor and Sean Lamont respectively.

Scotland head coach Frank Hadden explained: “With our first World Cup game 19 days away Saturday is a massive challenge for us.

“As ever the selection is about identifying a team that can win.  In this case it’s also about striking a balance between giving as many players in the squad game time and looking for continuity after our victory earlier this month against Ireland.”

Two players were not considered for selection: hooker Scott Lawson and scrum-half Chris Cusiter who are both continuing to recover from ankle injuries.
