This autumn's Rugby World Cup has resulted in the late starting of the Guinness 'A' League which the Wanderers will again play in. The first fixture in the Northern Conference is on Monday, October 29th, when Newcastle Falcons visit Franklin's Gardens.
Before then there are plenty of friendly fixtures to be enjoyed against Saracens and Moseley and the respective students from Cambridge and Oxford Universities. A Saints Development XV will also travel to Henley.
In the Guinness 'A' League there will be some familiar foes as horns are locked with Sale Jets, Leeds Carnegie, Worcester Warriors, Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers. The second team East Midlands derbies have proved very popular over the past few seasons with several thousand fans attending the matches. Pencil Monday, November 19th and Monday, December 17th into your diaries.
The Guinness 'A' League continues until the end of February. There are also return friendlies against Doncaster and Moseley pencilled into the calendar.
As always, all Wanderers matches are free to all season ticket holders. The standard of entertainment is consistently high so head down to the Gardens on a Monday night!
