The Saints U19s maintained their unbeaten home record with a hard fought 23-22 win over Sale. The match was marred by an incident just three minutes into the game when centre Nick Greenhalgh and a Sale centre collided with the latter needing to be taken off the pitch by ambulance. The 40-minute delay had an effect on both teams who were clearly upset by seeing their team mates in such distress.

Saints U19s had a hard fought victory over Leeds Carnegie at Franklin’s Gardens on Saturday. It was a credit to groundsman ‘Piggy’ Powell and his team for getting the pitch playable with all the recent rain and it was great to see so many local supporters at the match, including some of our Academy U16s.
