Northampton Saints’ tighthead prop Pat Barnard has responded to medical treatment on an infected ear and should return to training this week. The South African-born England-qualified front-rower has missed the last two games against Biarritz and Border Reivers with the infection.
Full-backs Robbie Kydd and Rob Laird are recovering well from their hamstring injuries and should be available for selection next week.
Centre David Quinlan is also making good progress with his knee injury and may be available for selection for this weekend’s visit to The Stoop.
