Northampton Saints have today received from European Rugby Cup Ltd the ticketing arrangements for the Heineken Cup semi-final versus London Wasps, to be played at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, on Sunday April 22 at 3pm.

The semi-final is staged by ERC and the allocations and ticket prices have been set by them. Northampton Saints has received an allocation of 14,265 tickets and in making the following arrangements the club have tried to ensure that as many of its loyal supporters can be a part of the biggest occasion the club has been involved in for several years.

The club is expected to receive the tickets from ERC by 10am today and hopes that they will be available for sale by 12noon.

Saints’ supporters will be concentrated at the north end of the Ricoh Arena, with the remainder of the stadium’s capacity being allocated to ERC, its sponsors and London Wasps.

The ticket prices – set by ERC – are as follows:

£45, £35 and £25 (with concessions for under-16s at £13)

As always the continued commitment and loyalty of the Saints’ season ticket holders and associate members will be rewarded with a priority booking period.

This begins at noon today and the ticket office will have special opening hours through the Easter Weekend to ensure that season ticket holders can guarantee their place at the Ricoh Arena.

The ticket office will be open today (Thursday) until 9pm, on Good Friday between 9am and 5pm and on Easter Saturday between 9am and 5pm. Please note however that due to the Bank Holiday weekend the ticket office will be closed on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

The ticket office has made arrangements for extra staff but please be aware that due to the expected high demand delays may be experienced. To ensure as speedy a service as possible, please ensure that your season ticket details are at hand.

THERE WILL BE A STRICT LIMIT OF ONE TICKET PER PERSON AND PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR BOOKINGS TO PROCEED, EITHER IN PERSON OR ON THE PHONE, SEASON TICKET DETAILS WILL BE NEEDED. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WHO HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED THEIR AUTO CUP TIE VOUCHER MUST RE-APPLY FOR TICKETS AS THIS MATCH IS NOT BEING PLAYED AT FRANKLIN’S GARDENS.

The remaining tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday April 11. Further announcements regarding availability will be made on the club’s website.

As a thank you for their loyalty this season, the club is subsidising coach travel to Coventry. Seats on the coaches will cost only £2 and should be booked along with match tickets. They will depart from Franklin’s Gardens at 1pm, returning from the Ricoh Arena (extra time permitting) at 5:30pm.

Free car parking for coach travellers will be available at Franklin’s Gardens (Car Park D – via Edgar Mobbs Way) and the Village will be open from 11am to 1pm. The Rodber Suite and Heroes Bar will both be open for supporters upon their return.

Car parking at the Ricoh Arena is limited.
