Saints centre Joe Ansbro says that the players have put last weekend's win over Exeter and are firmly focussed on beating Nottingham this coming Saturday.
With the victory over Exeter the Saints won promotion earlier than any other team since Richmond in 1989. But Ansbro insists that there will be no let-up from the team in the next few weeks.
"Wednesday was a good session, very sharp with a lot of running," he says. "We’ve got back into the zone. A lot of people were tired afterwards but refreshed at the same time."
Nottingham come to Franklin's Gardens as one of National League One's form teams with only one defeat from their last 15 matches. Their bonus point victory over Launceston saw the East Midlanders tie with the Chiefs in second place. Ansbro is anticipating a tough battle.
"Obviously we’ve been promoted but we all know that this week will be a very tough game," he says. "It was very close when we played at Nottingham. Everyone was sharp and back in it. It will be the same today.
"We take every game as it comes and want to come out on top every game. So far that has meant us being unbeaten, which is great, but we can’t take our foot off the pedal now.
"We’re expected to perform in every game. We’ve got to keep on going that. We’ve got to keep on winning."
