The Northampton Town Show concerts, presented by Northampton Saints, Travis Perkins and Carlsberg, are selling quickly, organisers said today. The fantastic weather over the Bank Holiday weekend has got the Northampton public in a party mood and ticket sales are already in four figures.
The two concerts are the culmination of two days of entertainment at Franklin’s Gardens that promise to make for a memorable weekend! Although the organising committee is very pleased with ticket sales so far they emphasise that there are still some pitch tickets available for both evenings.
The club has put together a superb ticket offer for Saints supporters. A weekend pass, including both concerts and daytime events, costs just £25 for adults and £15 for children. If you only want to come to one concert we will include free day entry as well!
This offer only applies until 5pm on Friday, May 9th so don't miss out!
On Saturday, May 24th, ‘A Tribute To Legends’ will be a foot-stomping romp for all ages as from 7pm we pay a four-hour homage to the very best music has to offer.
Some of the country’s top tribute acts will provide the entertainment, including Beatlemania, Killer Queen, Planet Abba, Vogue (Madonna), Michael King as Elvis Presley, Jay Oxenham as Frank Sinatra and Danny Lowrey as Robbie Williams.
Tickets are available on the pitch and in the stadium seats, all priced at £15 (adults) and £10 (juniors). There are only a limited number of pitch tickets so early booking is advisable.
Then at 7:30pm on Sunday, May 25th the London Pops Orchestra and singers straight from the stages of London’s West End will provide the backdrop to ‘That’s Entertainment!’
It’s a three-hour extravaganza of popular hits, songs from West End musicals, and classical favourites such as Pomp and Circumstance, Jerusalem and Land Of Hope and Glory and ending with a magnificent pyrotechnics display, sponsored by Church's Shoes.
Two types of tickets are available for ‘That’s Entertainment!’ where you can bring your blanket and hamper (these are very limited in quantity so booking early is again recommended) and stadium seats. Again all priced at £15 (adults) and £10 (juniors).
