The first action of the new season has already seen the new Saints Superstore exceed all expectations. The Superstore, refurbished this summer in partnership with Rhino Pure Rugby, broke all club records for sales before and after last Saturday's pre-season friendly against Western Force. The new replica shirt continues to be a big hit with supporters with more being sold than at any similar stage in previous years.
This is because the club responded to supporter feedback by providing a wide variety of options for both the home and away replica shirts, including long and short sleeved versions, a massive range of sizes up to 5XL, a ladies fit as well as pro-shirts, as worn by the team.
To complement the Rhino Pure Rugby range, the club will be launching new product lines over the coming months, starting with the Saints With Distinction high quality range of limited edition clothing.
“Saints fans are known across the country for wearing their colours and seeing so many of them in the Rhino Rugby replica shirt shows how excitement is building ahead of our return to the Guinness Premiership,” said Saints chief executive Allan Robson. “A lot of time and effort went into the design of the shirt and the refurbishment of the Saints Superstore and I am delighted that already supporters are enjoying both. We have received plenty of positive feedback and we hope that the new shirts bring renewed luck for the season ahead.”
The Saints Superstore will be open from 10am this coming Sunday for the 2008 Open Day and pre-season friendly against Benetton Treviso.
