Ref!Link has apologised to the Club and its supporters for the performance of the Ref!Link Radios at Franklin’s Gardens this season:
'We have introduced a new radio this season and some Saints supporters have pointed out that it has not in every case been performing to the expected standard. However, we have been working on resolving the problem and I believe we will have a replacement unit for those that want it, available to exchange at one of the home matches around Christmas, hopefully the Harlequins match.
'As an interim measure until then any supporter who is unhappy with the reception on their current Ref!Link radio may exchange their plastic unit for a temporary cardboard one. This will then be exchange free of charge for one of the new radios. We, Ref!Link, do wholeheartedly apologise to the Club and our listeners.'
Temporary replacements can be obtained from outside the Store in the Northants 96 Village before the match or in the main Saints Superstore in the Franklin's on other days.
Allan Robson, Saints' Chief Executive said: “We are sorry that the change of product supplier has upset this service in which we invested last season. We have been assured that the replacement radio will work perfectly but are prepared to give any supporter a full refund if they prefer.”
