Saints ready for Stoop encounter
By Editor
Northampton Saints travel to The Stoop tomorrow to face Harlequins and the importance of maintaining momentum as the team return to the Guinness Premiership fray is not lost on director of rugby Jim Mallinder.

After consecutive European Challenge Cup successes against French opposition in their last two games, Saints will go to Southwest London looking for an away win that could propel them above Quins in the Guinness Premiership table.

Mallinder sees Saturday's clash as an opportunity to build on recent good form.

"Our home form has been good this season and now the target has to be to take that form away from home. There is no reason why we can't go away and get a win in any game. Just look at Montpellier a few weeks ago, going to France is never easy but we came away with the points."

"We just have to concentrate on our performance for 80 minutes and the results will come. Most importantly we can not afford to be complacent just because we have had a good January. The team will not be taking anything for granted this weekend."

"Harlequins have a strong side that has performed particularly well at home this season. Any team containing experienced professionals such as Nick Evans and Will Skinner, alongside young talents like Chris Robshaw is sure to pose a big challenge."

Unfortunately after picking up a rib injury in the game against Toulon, Euan Murray is unavailable for Saturday's game with Barry Stewart coming in to fill the tight head berth. Elsewhere scrum half Lee Dickson and wing Paul Diggin both return to the starting team.
