Hot on the heels of our memorable evening with Ian McGeechan, the Saints can now announce that not one, but TWO former England captains will be the guests of honour for the next in our 'An Audience With...' series.
Hosted by our good friend, and chairman of the England selectors, Geoff Miller on Friday, February 5th, 2010, 'An Audience With…Nasser Hussain and Alec Stewart' will give you the opportunity to hear the opinions of two of the most capped England internationals in recent history, as well as dressing room tales aplenty.
Stewart, one of the finest wicket keepers and batsmen to have worn the three Lions on his shirt, captained England 14 times during his 133-cap career, including a series victory at home against South Africa. He was followed by Hussain, who with coach Duncan Fletcher began the long process of building the England team towards their 2005 Ashes success by winning four successive test series for the first time since the early-1980s.
Both men are now successful media commentators - Hussain with Sky Sports, Stewart with BBC Radio 5 Live - and will no doubt have tales to tell from behind the microphone, too!
