Two of the players, Lee Melotti and Gabriel Carroll, captained their respective regions, Melotti leading the Midlands and Carroll the London and South East Division.

Melotti had three club mates in his squad - Henri Da Costa, Jordan Husband and Sam Pointon - while Carroll had two familiar faces around him in the form of Will Hooley and Chris Lord.

The Divisional Festival is a key stage in the England selection process. The next stage is a trial match at Stowe School on Sunday, February 7th, which will be followed by two divisional camps for the England and England 'A' squads. A Saints Under-17s team will be playing England U16 'A' at Rugby School on Sunday, March 7th.
