Four members of the Saints Senior Academy have been dual-registered with Championship clubs for the final few weeks of the season.
Grant Anderson (centre) and John Brake (scrum-half) have already turned out for Birmingham and Solihull, while Nick Greenhalgh (centre) will be available for Exeter Chiefs in their play-offs campaign. Christian Lewis-Pratt (fly half) is the fourth player to be registered with a Championship club, this time Nottingham.
All four players will also remain available for their home club.
Director of rugby Jim Mallinder says that playing in the Championship will be good for the youngsters' development.
"The Championship is more competitive than ever this season and our players will benefit from playing in it during the next few weeks," he said. "It will also be good for us to see how they cope with match situations in an unfamiliar environment."
