There's always a need to celebrate properly from time to time, whether it's a special birthday party, anniversary, engagement party, graduation ball or an annual company dinner. We are also experienced at hosting funeral wakes and are able to provide an appropriate level of attention and service. At Franklin's Gardens we are able and willing to accomodate all requests and can work with you to make sure every last detail is covered.

We also welcome bookings from schools and colleges for end of year prom's and balls and have a room suitable for parties and dinners of all sizes. The Rodber Suite (below) can comfortably accomodate 450 people cabaret style with room for a stage or a dance floor.

If you're looking for a sit down function, still cabaret but slightly smaller, the famous Sturtridge Suite (below) can host upto 150 people with a dance floor. With it's private bar and natural light, the view over the pitch make the Sturtridge Suite a popular choice and can enhance your function with strolls out on the open balcony. We have excellent working relationships with local entertainment agents and acts and are able to recommend DJ's, disco's, bands and other suggestions than can add to your party.

We can set up the suite exactly to your requirements, if it's not a sit down cabaret style you're after we can lay up a much more informal room with a mixture of a "welcome" area for guests to mingle, a dance floor area, and a number of seated tables for people to use at their leisure.
