Play Rugby

At Northampton Saints we believe that rugby is more than just a spectator sport. It is a sport that you can get involved in as well, at a junior club or at school.

We have strong links with all of the junior clubs in the Northampton area and beyond into the East Midlands and Eastern Counties and have introduced thousands of schoolchildren to the game with our coaching programmes.

We also believe in using the Saints team to inspire young players to bigger and better things and our matchday tournaments attract teams from as far afield as Norfolk, Suffolk and the north west, as well as closer to home. There are matchday tournaments for all age groups from Under-7 to Under-16. All are played on the training pitches at Franklin's Gardens with the winners and runners-up receiving their medals on the main pitch during the half-time break of the big match of the day!

The Land Rover Premiership Cup, for Under-11s and Under-12s, also gives teams the opportunity to represent the Saints at the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham in May.

And the off-season months do not have to mean an end to the rugby as the Summer Touch League gives teams from clubs and companies the chance to keep fit and hone their skills in a competitive, but fun, environment.

All of the information is in the pages listed above, and if you want to enter your team into any of the matchday tournaments email the Community team by CLICKING HERE.
