Rugby News Opposition players to watch this Friday night!

Some of the best young players in the country will be strutting their stuff at Franklin's Gardens on Friday night. Here's our rundown on who to watch from each team.

SALE SHARKS

Tom Brady Since joining Sale in the 2010/2011 season at the age of 19, winger Tom Brady was an influential player in their fight to stay up last season. Although tainted by injury in the middle of the season, he signed a new contract with the club this year, and is hoping to build upon the three tries he scored for the club this season. Last year, Tom was part of the Sharks team who made it past the group stages and into the finals of the JP Morgan Premiership 7s- so this year they will be looking to do the same.

Nathan Fowles An England U20 international player, Nathan Fowles was part of the squad who lifted the U20s Six Nations trophy earlier in the year. The scrum-half made his breakthrough into the first team last season in the dramatic 34-33 clash with the Cardiff Blues in the Heineken Cup. From there, he went on to obtain three more European appearances and two more Aviva Premiership appearances. At only 19 years old, he has achieved great deal of experience and looks to be an extremely promising player with a bright future ahead of him.

LEICESTER TIGERS

Harry Wells 19-year-old Harry is an exciting new prospect from Leicester's Academy. He was part of the England U20s World Cup winning squad this summer, and the Six Nations winning side earlier in the year. He made his first team debut this season in the LV= Cup against Wasps, and obviously showcased his abilities, as he was chosen to start against the Scarlets later on in the season. One of Wells's first matches with the Tigers Academy was against Northampton Saints, so he will be looking to show the crowd what he's made of as he takes them on again at Franklin's Gardens.

Henry Purdy Another one of England's U20s World Cup and Six Nations Champions, Henry Purdy is a prominent winger for the Tigers Academy. Since moving from Wasps' development squad, Purdy made his debut for the Tigers senior squad against Saracens last November. Similarly to Wells, Purdy will be using the JP Morgan Premiership Sevens to showcase his talent, and take full advantage of playing against other premiership sides at Franklin's Gardens.

NEWCASTLE FALCONS

Richard Mayhew An experienced Falcons player, originally from Auckland, New Zealand, moved to England in 2010. He spent some time playing for Esher in the Championship before making the move north to Newcastle Falcons. The 25-year-old back row player is hoping to follow in the footsteps of our very own Dylan Hartley to make it into the England setup. Over the 2012-2013 season Mayhew made 23 appearances for the club and scored five tries over the course of the season. Mayhew's experience in premiership rugby will make him a influential captain for this sevens team, and a strong force to be reckoned with.

Alex Tait A big tackling full-back, Alex Tait joined the Falcons Academy while still at school. He was a key player in their academy setup, and also in England U18s and England U20s. Tait made his 100th appearance as captain of the Falcons against Jersey in the Championship in November 2012. He scored four times in 19 games during the 2012/13 season as Falcons secured their comeback to the Aviva Premiership.
