Club News Front Mo Union fundraising hits new heights with t-shirt auction
Dylan Hartley’s Front Mo Union is leading the Aviva Premiership’s fundraising this Movember, but the initiatives aren’t finished yet!
Already the Front Mo Union has smashed through the £16,500 mark, and currently sits fifth in the national team league table, just £1,900 off second place and £2,800 off top spot.
The Front Mo Union has also single-handedly brought in nearly half of the Aviva Premiership’s total, with 247 MoBros and MoSistas raising money and awareness about men’s health issues.
And the next Saints home game, on Saturday, November 23rd, will give supporters the opportunity to increase this total even further and get themselves a unique memento in the process!
The Saints match squad that day will be warming up in special Movember t-shirts, which will be named and numbered. At the end of the game each player will sign his shirt, which will then be auctioned off and with all proceeds going to Movember.
Hartley says he has been thrilled by the amount of support the Front Mo Union has had, but that there is plenty more work to be done, too.
“It’s been really good to see so many people getting behind the Front Mo Union, either by joining us and growing their moustaches or donating to the team,” he said.
“Movember is a great cause, and it’s giving all of the squad something to unite behind, whether they’re at the club or with their international team. And hopefully the auction of the Movember t-shirts can take us all the way into top spot come the end of the month!”
