Academy News Dual registration for seven more Saints
In addition to the first team 23 heading to Newport and four with the Saxons, seven more Saints will be in senior action this weekend on dual registration.
A trio of those are in the Championship in the familiar surroundings of Billesley Common as Moseley take on Ealing – Will Hooley and Tom Warren retained in the starting XV after last week’s impressive win over Cross Keys.
That was a game in which fly half Hooley contributed a try and three conversions and he could be joined on the park by fellow Saints half-back Ryan Glynn, who is among the Mose replacements.
Hooker Reece Marshall will also be looking to gain valuable game time as part of Old Albanian’s squad to face Coventry in National League 1.
In National League 2, Paul Diggin gets another run out at full back in Cambridge colours alongside Academy forward Sam Harry, the third placed Blood and Sand heading to Clifton.
In the same league, Harry Betts has made an impact at Chinnor as a replacement in recent weeks and the flanker will get his chance to start when they travel to Hartpury College – a club that shares close ties with Gloucester, also through dual registration.
