Club News Direct debit Season Tickets double at Saints

Northampton Saints has announced that the second year of the club’s Season Ticket direct debit instalment plan has been a massive success, with over twice the number of supporters signing up to the scheme for 2014/15.

Already well over two-and-a-half thousand people have put pen to paper, committing their support to the Saints team for what will be a big year of Aviva Premiership, European and LV= Cup rugby.

And while the vast majority have chosen to spread their payments over 10 interest-free instalments a sizeable number of supporters have paid in full for their Season Ticket already.

Chief executive Allan Robson says that the growing success of the direct debit instalment plan and the popularity of Season Tickets as a whole reflects the sense of excitement surrounding the bright future at Franklin’s Gardens.

“So far 2013/14 has been a strong season for us, with the team winning 23 out of our 29 games played so far, and the take-up of Season Tickets for next season clearly demonstrates how much supporters want to be a part of the Saints,” he said.

“The direct debit instalment plan was set up to help supporters manage their finances and spread their costs throughout the year, and I’m delighted to see that the word is spreading about this payment option.

“It is also very positive to see the number of supporters who have paid in full already, and hopefully this backing will give the team the encouragement it needs to bring silverware to Franklin’s Gardens, both for the remainder of this season and in 2014/15, too.”

Direct debit payments are now closed for 2014/15, but supporters can still pay in full, either by completing a Season Ticket booking form or online via www.northamptonsaints.co.uk/buytickets
