Rugby News Three rounds of Aviva Premiership left and there’s all to play for!
Sunday’s spectacular fightback at Allianz Park could be crucial in the Saints’ end of season run-in, which continues with Sunday’s home game against London Irish.
With 10 minutes to play the Saints were 18 points adrift of Saracens. But late tries from Luther Burrell and George North saw the visitors head home up the M1 with a losing bonus point, and but for some strong Saracens defence at a late five-metre lineout it could have been even more.
That Barnet point gives the Saints a three-point cushion ahead of Leicester in the chase for a home Aviva Premiership semi-final. The Tigers head to Harlequins on Friday night, but the Saints have things very much in their own hands, starting with Sunday’s Capital Clash with the Exiles at Franklin’s Gardens.
Tickets have been in high demand for this game, and there are now just a couple of hundred remaining, with groups of people able to watch together on the Gordon Terrace.
Supporters can also make a full Easter Day of the game with a special hospitality option which includes a three-course roast lunch, pre and post-match chats with Saints players and match viewing from the first floor balcony of the Sturtridge Pavilion.
