Northampton Saints are looking to recruit an experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to work within their Performance Department.

This full-time position would give the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that supports high performance training and rehabilitation.

SALARY
Dependent on level of experience

CPD ALLOWANCE
Dependent on level of experience and areas of personal development

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Successful applicants will be experienced and competent in delivering Strength and Conditioning Coaching from Academy through to senior level
- Proficient in the design and delivery of position specific Rugby Strength and Conditioning and injury prevention programmes
- Work closely with a team of medics in the development and implementation of effective return-to-play strategies
- Contribute to the ongoing progression and development of the Saints’ Performance Department
- Administer and interpret performance monitoring and testing protocols

YOU SHOULD HAVE/BE
- Knowledge and experience of the development, organization and implementation of high performance strength and conditioning and injury prevention programmes for rugby
- Strong communication skills and experience of mentoring, building rapport and coaching elite athletes to maximize their potential
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated with a high work ethic and strong independent and interdependent skills
- High professional standards and a commitment to continued professional development
